Art

This term we have completed two pieces of art.

One was inspired by an artist named Kadinsky who used coloured circles in his work. We looked at the contrast between warm and cool colours and the black and white of the buildings.

Our second piece was using the Maori words we have learnt and using these to create a visual picture. The words become the shape of the picture.

Something I did well was the circles on my picture.

Something I could improve on are my words on my Maori art

The zebra safely walked along the road until he saw the  strange looking van. One long necked giraffe stuck his neck out of the window to get some air. In animal town I'm a  beautiful blue bird with sparkly rainbow wings in the high trees. Now, I need to get a ruby for my friend, the lion. Off I go down there. Whoosh! Got it. Now to the lion. Whoosh!
My best friend is the king of the jungle.
